- Alternating Current
- Ampere Hour
- The quantity of electricity measured in ampere-hours (Ah) that can be delivered by a cell/battery under specified conditions.
- Amplifier
- A device, especially one using transistors or electron tubes, that produces amplification of an electrical signal.
Top ^ - Charger
- A device that charges, such as an instrument that charges or replenishes storage batteries.
Top ^ - DC
- Direct Current
Top ^ - Frequency
- The number of repetitions per unit time of a complete waveform, as of an electric current.
Top ^ - Harmonics
- Periodic motion whose frequency is a whole-number multiple of some fundamental frequency.
- Humidity
- The amount of water vapor in the air, expressed as a percentage of the maximum amount that the air could hold at the given temperature; the ratio of the actual water vapor pressure to the saturation vapor pressure.
Top ^ - Immersion
- The condition of being placed underwater for a length of time.
Top ^ - LED
- Light-Emitting Diode. A semiconductor diode that emits light when conducting current, and is used in electronic equipment, especially for displaying readings on digital watches, calculators, etc.
Top ^ - Modulation
- The variation of a property of an electromagnetic wave or signal, such as its amplitude, frequency, or phase.
Top ^ - NATO
- North Atlantic Treaty Organization
- NSN
- Government National Stock Number. Assigned to cells and batteries purchased by the Department of Defense and other military/government agencies. Numbers for batteries are in the following format: XXXX-XX-XXX-XXXX
Top ^ - Repeater
- A device capable of receiving one-way or two-communications signals and delivering corresponding signals that are either amplified, reshaped, or both.
Top ^ - SATCOM
- Satellite Communications
Top ^ - Transceiver
- A transmitter and receiver housed together in a single unit, and having some circuits in common. Often for portable or mobile use.
Top ^ - Voltage
- The unit of measurement of electric potential. Voltage is the difference in electrical energy between two points.
